The coronavirus outbreak brought on social and travel restrictions in early 2020 which have led
companies to rethink how they interact with their customers and partners. In order to remain close
to ours even in these exceptional times, the Planmeca team reacted quickly in March to launch
the unique Time to Learn online training concept.
THE Time to Learn concept was introduced as a direct response
to the needs of our customers and distributors in the midst of
the pandemic. As clinics began to close their doors, dental
professionals around the world had more time for learning and
professional self-development. At the same time, the downtime
in the industry was an opportunity to offer still more training
to local representatives and technicians and strengthen their
expertise in Planmeca solutions.
The training platform was launched in March 2020 with
a comprehensive selection of materials, from live dental webinars
to tutorial videos and quick guides on Planmeca products.
“Our idea was to gather all our online training material on an
easily accessible platform for dealers and end-users respectively,”
explains Hannele Forsman, Competence Development Manager
at Planmeca.
“Existing material was also expanded with new content, such
as webinars on Planmeca Romexis® 6, close to 200 product
tutorial videos for end-users as well as brand new eLearning
lessons for dealers.”
