On a journey to go full circle
We’re committed to continue increasing the use of sustainable
material, on a journey towards replacing conventional plastics
with ISCC PLUS certified bio-circular material.
In the manufacture of plastic parts for SAGA™ products, a large
proportion of fossil-based plastic has been replaced by bio-
circular material. Currently 75% of the SAGA™ products
manufactured contain ISCC PLUS certified1 raw material. By
2030, the use of bio-circular material is estimated to reduce
climate emissions by 400 tons of CO2 equivalent2 annually.
The environmental performance of Saga products has been
assessed by third-party verified Environmental Product
Declarations (Type III3 EPDs).
75% of Saga products use
bio-circular raw material
from renewable sources.

2 Based on estimated sales volumes. CO2 equivalent
(carbon dioxide equivalent, CO2 eq.) is a unit of measurement used to
compare the specific warming effect of different greenhouse gases
(global warming potential, GWP) by converting the global warming po-
tential of other greenhouse gases to an amount of CO2 that has the same
global warming potential, by means of coefficients.

3 A type III Environmental Product Declaration (EPD) is a transparent
and obcjetive report of the environmental performance of a product
